When Mike Brading sets off to run the Great South Run he'll have an extra incentive to complete the 10-mile course, as his own little Superhero will be waiting to cross the finishing line with him.

"I am running the Great South Run to raise money for a brilliant little charity that sponsors a ward at Southampton general hospital, My son Charlie was born with spina bifida and when he was 2 months old he was treated on this ward after having spinal surgery.
