Keith's 46 Mile Cycle

Keith Brown is no stranger to fundraising and has been a keen supporter of Smile4Wessex since his son, Tim, sadly passed away 12 years ago from an undiagnosed Arteriovenous Malformation at the age of just 19 years old.

More recently, having undergone major heart surgery himself in 2015 for a long term heart condition, which resulted in an aortic valve replacement and bypass, Tim took up road cycling with the encouragement of his elder son James, to help maintain a level of fitness which would aid his recovery. He now cycles on a weekly basis and enters at least three Sportives each year.

Having completed his first Prudential RideLondon 46 last year for charity, when Keith was lucky enough to secure a place once again in the 2018 ballot, he kindly chose to support Smile4Wessex, and now prepares to tackle the 46 mile London-Surrey route next month.

We are very grateful to Keith for his ongoing support and you can visit his online fundraising page HERE
