On the 22nd May, Natalie Cash took on the Jurassic Coast Challenge in memory of her dear mum who sadly passed away in January 2020, after suddenly being taken ill on New Years Eve 2019. She was admitted to the Wessex Neurological Centre, where it was discovered she'd suffered a bleed on the brain.

Natalie has always had a soft spot for the Dorset Coast, having spent many hours walking it with her mum, dad and brother when she was growing up, and felt this was the perfect challenge to honour her mums memory, whilst raising money for a charity close to her heart.

Natalie was joined on the 100km trek from Corfe Castle to Bridport by her close friends Christina, Maria and Penny, but sadly had to retire from the challenge at 58kms (18 hours of walking) when she fell poorly. 

"It was an amazing experience but also incredibly tough!  I did my absolute best and so proud of what we achieved! And it gave me time to think about Mom too - she would definitely have been cheering me on! "
