It was so lovely to see so many of you on Saturday 22nd October, at this years Smile4Rich Gala Dinner, on what was an extra special occasion to mark the 20th anniversary of losing Rich Bowler and celebrate all that has been created in his memory.

We'd like to thank all the team at the Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House for such a stunning venue and lovely meal, and of course to The Strand, who were brilliant as always.

Congratulations to our thoroughly deserving winner of our 2022 Smile4Rich Fundraiser of the Year Award, David Newman; who commenced his incredible 1000km in a month cycle challenge back in May... just a year following a stroke! A huge well done and thank you to all our nominees and indeed all our fundraisers, for their dedicated support to the charity over the last year.

We'd also like to say a massive thank you to our sponsors, Moore Barlow LLP and MarineSpace, for their generous and continued support. As we said on Saturday.. sponsorship really does make a huge difference, ensuring that as much money raised as possible comes to the charity and goes directly into our projects for the Neurological Centre.

If you joined us on Saturday evening, you will have heard our announcement that, as of this month, fundraising as Smile4Rich and subsequently Smile4Wessex, has just topped 2 million pounds, which is an incredible achievement, and a true milestone, and something everyone should be incredibly proud of.

So lastly, we'd like to say a special thank you to all of you who attended this years Gala, and whilst Rich will never be forgotten, it is the wish of Rich's family that this was the last Gala Dinner in his name, and going forward, at their request, this event will be known as the Smile4Wessex Gala Dinner.

We don't have a final total raised just yet, but we will hopefully be able to announce this soon... In the meantime, here are a few photos from the evening.
