Congratulations to this amazing group of army and air cadets, who we had the privilege of meeting on Saturday 20th May at the Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester, for completing their 2x2x24 challenge -  a fundraising event which saw them run 2 miles, every 2 hours for 24 hours!

They were joined on the start line by extreme adventurer, best selling author and Army Cadet Force Ambasssdor, Jordan Wylie MBE, who offered them words of advice and motivation to help get them through the difficult night time hours.

The sponsored challenge was organised by Contingent Commander Major Kevin Matthews for Smile4Wessex after a good friend and colleague underwent two emergency operations at the Wessex Neurological Centre in May last year.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet these inspirational young cadets, who had all chosen to give up their weekend to raise money for Smile4Wessex, despite some of them being due in the exam hall on Monday morning!

Thank you for supporting Smile4Wessex...this was such a wonderful achievement... and one you should all be very proud of.

There is still time to support this brilliant team of cadets by visiting their page HERE.
