We were very excited to see the safe delivery of the Stealth Autoguide Cranial Robot to the Wessex Neurological Centre this week.
We launched this appeal at last years Gala Dinner, when we were joined by Naren from Medtronic who demonstrated this incredible piece of equipment, which will transform epilepsy surgery at Southampton, and we're delighted to have been able to complete this project so quickly.
As with so many of our projects, we will be the only hospital in the region with this technology and this is only possible thanks to all your support with fundraising.
We'll bring you more updates over the next few weeks as our cranial robot makes it's way to the Neuro Theatres and prepares to meet its first patient.
