On Sunday 6th April Megan Eadon completed the Brighton Marathon in an impressive 4hrs 41mins!

Megan took on this challenge in memory of her dear mum Michelle, who tragically passed away in June 2023 having been involved in an accident.Following the accident, Megans mum was treated in the Neuro ICU at the Wessex Neurological Centre, where she underwent many scans, tests and two operations, but sadly died 8 days later. 

Megan chose to run in aid of Smile4Wessex as a thank you for the care and compassion shown towards her mum during this time.

Megans sisters drove to Brighton on the morning tof the marathon to surprise her at the start "It made me very emotional as I wasn’t expecting them at all. My mum would’ve been so happy seeing us all there together"
