TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASES FROM OUR ONLINE SHOP
The following terms and conditions apply to orders for the purchase of goods or event tickets from the Smile4Wessex Online shop. Please print a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.
DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICING
We take all reasonable care to ensure that the descriptions and prices of items appearing in the Smile4Wessex Online Shop are correct, however we reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.
ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CONTRACT OF SALE
If you place an order for an item from the Smile4Wessex Online Shop we shall acknowledge your order by email, confirming details of the item or items you have ordered. Your order represents an offer by you to purchase an item which is only accepted by us when we deliver the item to you. Any items on the same order which we have not delivered to you do not form part of that contract. You warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old.
AVAILABILITY
The supply of items from the Smile4Wessex Online Shop is subject to availability. It may not always be possible for us to confirm availability, at the time you place your order, whether the item(s) you require are still available for purchase. In the case that we are not able to fulfill your original order we shall offer you an alternative choice or a full refund. For items held in stock, we aim to dispatch within three working days of your order being received. Some ‘stock’ items may need to be personalised (embroidered or printed) prior to shipping. If so, you will find an estimate of the lead time for delivery quoted in the description of the item.
ORDER AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to amend or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do all we can to accommodate your wishes but, as much of our merchandise is made to order, it may not be possible for us to do so without incurring a cost to the charity. In such circumstances we reserve the right to apply a charge to cover these costs, and will notify you of what any such charge will be.
UK POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
Smile4Wessex offers a standard postage & packing charge of £2.95 for the first item on all orders, and an additional charge of £1.50 for each extra item on the same order. Alternatively, orders can be collected from our office (or other agreed location) at no cost.
Please note that we do not normally dispatch items to overseas addresses. If you do require delivery outside of the UK then please contact us for a quote for postage & packaging.
RETURNS AND COMPLAINTS
We operate a 14-day returns policy, commencing from the date you receive the ordered item. Outside of this 14-day period we reserve the right not refund the order (unless defective/damaged). All unwanted goods should be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in the original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you do wish to return an item, please contact us first with details of the item you wish to return, and your reason for doing so. Once received, we will process the returned item and offer you the choice of a replacement or a refund.
If you request a refund we will refund the full price of the goods, including the original delivery charge, however we will not refund any cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
When submitting your order you are agreeing to allow the Wessex Neurological Centre Trust to use your personal data for the purpose of supplying the items ordered. For further information on how we store and use your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
AMENDMENTS TO THESE CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions of Purchase at any time, and you will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Purchase in force at the time that you use the Smile4Wessex Online Shop, or that you order items from it, unless any change to these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it may also apply to orders already placed by you). If any of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term or condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
