Be Inspired

As you can probably imagine, we have the pleasure of meeting some truly amazing individuals who overcome seemingly impossible odds to not merely recover from their illness or injury, but who go on to find the strength of character to perform feats that put many of us to shame. Their stories are often touching and invariably inspiring. These are the Inside Stories of the likes of David Allen, who was told he was unlikely to walk again but went on to complete a triathalon, Dan Mason who took on the 'Longest Day' challenge and continued his Army career despite an inoperable brain tumour, and Rob Langman, who together with his wife climbed Mount Kilimanjaro only 10 months after undergoing brain surgery. Their stories are incredible, but there are many others whose achievements are equally astonishing. Indeed, you may wish to tell your own story so that others may be inspired. If so, please get in touch as we would love to hear from you, and to share your 'Inside Story'.

In addition, we'll be adding articles written by the very staff who are using the equipment and facilities funded by Smile4Wessex, explaining how patients benefit from these projects and the advances they provide. We hope you'll find their accounts of interest.
