Alan & Nick's 'Mid' Life Kilimanjaro Adventure

Alan & Nick's 'Mid' Life Kilimanjaro Adventure

To help mark Alans BIG birthday, he has roped his good friend Nick in to trekking nearly 6000 metres up Mount Kilimanjaro with him...... That's the equivalent of over 2,500 flights of stairs!!

They claim that neither of them are in their prime and feel it's going to be quite a challenge, so they will be doing plenty of training between now and July.

Both Alan and Nick are dedicated supporters of Smile4Wessex, which was established in memory of Richard Bowler, Nick's 15 year old son, who collapsed whilst training with his local youth football club in Sarisbury Green in 2002. Richard was found to have suffered a subarachnoid brain haemorrhage from which, he sadly never regained consciousness.

We are looking forward to following Alan and Nick's adventure. To read their full story and support them with their challenge, click HERE
