Marlboro Restaurant, situated close to Weymouth harbour, has been dishing up delicious Fish & Chips for four decades. But it will be 'chips' of a different sort that its staff, customers and suppliers will be trying for on Monday 2nd June at a charity golf day being staged to celebrate this 40th anniversary.

The event will be held over 18 holes at Weymouth Golf Club and will be followed by a two-course meal and prizegiving. Entry cost for a team of four is just £140 and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Smile4Wessex Appeal, the charity having been chosen after relatives of two of Marlboro's staff have been treated at the Wessex Neurological Centre in the past year.
