The island of Guernsey has always been extraordinarily supportive of Smile4Wessex, so it was my great pleasure to be invited to speak at a recent Rotary Club of Guernsey lunch. Not only is RCoG a very well supported club, and one that is instrumental in organising the annual golf day, but their numbers were further boosted at the lunch by visiting members of the Rotary Club de St Brieuc (France), bringing an international flavour to the occasion. Thankfully their English is far better than my French, so news of the work of Smile4Wessex has now crossed the English Channel.

Huge thanks to club president, Brian Acton, Nigel Dorey and all present for their warm reception and hospitality. Brian is pictured below with members of the St Brieuc contingent and the gong that had been presented to the French club by Rotary Club of Guernsey in July 1929!
