We were delighted to attend Cosham Masonic Hall this week, where we joined approximately 30 other local charities at the annual cheque presentation evening for the South East Area of Hampshire Freemasons.

Smile4Wessex was the chosen charity of Blake Hopley, Past Master of Domus Dei Lodge No.1515, who  raised an incredible £1435 after deciding to support the Wessex Neurological Centre, following his sisters diagnosis of a brain tumour a few years ago.

It was humbling to hear of all the wonderful work the charities and Freemasons are undertaking locally, and we are incredibly grateful to Blake, Jordan and all at Domus Dei Lodge No. 5151 for their kind and generous donation.

In total, Masons across the area donated a huge £51,204 to local charities and worthy causes throughout the evening, which was attended by the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth and other local dignitaries who kindly supported the event.
