The Barratt Homes Relay Marathon returns for the 8th year on Sunday 17th May 2020. Organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey, the Marathon is a unique community event held in the spring of each year, on the Broadlands Estate.

The Relay Marathon gives an opportunity to take part in a team of up to 10 runners who will collectively run 26.2 miles. Each runner must complete two circuits of the 1.3 mile course before handing the baton to their next teammate. In total 20 laps must be completed to reach the marathon distance. 

Runners have ranged in age from 8 to 80 years old. The event has now become a firm fixture in the Romsey calendar with thousands of spectators turning out to support the teams and enjoy the day.

With a BBQ, free children's activities on site including Face Painting and entertainers, the Marathon is not just a race or a fundraising exercise, but an event for the whole family.
