On Sunday 7th September, Rob Steenkamp will be cycling a 55-mile route from Richmond Park, London, to Alexandra Gardens in Windsor. Rob's mum, Angela, has undergone treatment at the Wessex Neurological Centre following diagnosis, in 2013, of a form of auto-immune disease that had caused her numbness and a loss of strength in her limbs. "She's since been on two courses of Immunoglobulin Therapy," says Rob. "She's always been very pleased with the quality of care she's received from the hospital staff, and whenever I've visited I've found them to be very helpful."
Rob will be riding the route with a number of friends, but he has chosen Smile4Wessex to benefit from spoonsorship he raises and would appreciate any support you may be generous enough to pledge through his online fundraising page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/steenies
Many thanks for your support, Rob, and we hope you're immune to saddle sores!
