Physiotherapy is a crucial part of the rehabilitation process, and the ability to provide this to patients who would otherwise endure long periods of immobility is an important aid to their recovery.

The Auto-Tilt Sigma Physiotherapy Chair is used by the Neuro-Physiotherapy team to allow physio to be provided to patients, even when they are in Intensive Care, reducing the risk of muscle wastage and circulation problems. The powered back and leg supports of the chair can be manoeuvred into a flat, bed-like position, enabling patients to be slid across onto it.

The chair has independent movement of the leg supports, and the patient can be tilted to a variety of angles (from flat to seated).
